Thomas Singer Belt Buckle

  I purchased several items from an old friend that was selling estate items for a member of his family. 
   This belt buckle was just one of the many items that I purchased. I know that Thomas Singer signed his pieces differently over the years, but I am hoping someone can confirm that the markings on this buckle are his. I know what the writing says, but I just want to be sure.

This is definitely a Tommy Singer buckle, but it is not from the 1950’s. Singer was born in 1940. It was probably made in the 1970’s
