What @chicfarmer said. I’m not spending a dollar to spend a penny when I shop in the SW for jewelry–I generally don’t expect to find deals there. The best deals I’ve found are either on the internet, or in random small shops near me on the East Coast. In the SW there is way more of a market for NA jewelry (demand), and people tend to know what they have. But I love to shop there because the selection and quality is amazing. Also, like @Ziacat, I don’t go JUST to shop. I go because it’s where I love to vacation anyway. Its no coincidence that I love NA jewelry and I love the southwest–to me it’s all connected.
She has been getting better, but I was worried she was developing diabetes (she’s on pred so that can happen), so I took her in today for some tests. She had gained a bit of weight back, but tested as having a UTI. She got an antibiotic, and now she’s lethargic and not eating much again No diabetes though, so that’s good! Now I’m just praying I don’t have to syringe feed her again. THAT was unpleasant for all. Thanks for asking!
@nanc9354 I agree with @Stracci. I live in the Phoenix area and you will not find anything like this at “thrift stores” down here. More like nice antique malls and maybe a little bit at some pawn shops.
@nanc9354. Forgot to mention I grew up in Cedar Rapids. Don’t know if you are into college sports but I am still an Iowa Hawkeye fan to this day. Go Hawks!
I am a Badger fan…then a Penn State fan (son played DT) …and then an Iowa fan…because daughter and son-in-law live there. I’m really excited for women’s basketball, which I hardly ever watched until late last season. Caitlin Clark is amazing!!!
Oops! Taking a close look at the pieces to which the tags are actually attached, some of the pricing IS pretty unrealistic for the quality of a number of these pieces. Nonetheless, there are some surprisingly striking, high quality pieces.
No worries @mmrogers . My brain had a lag in fully comprehending some of those prices too. And you are correct on the quality. Good for them if they can get those prices.
