Very nice piece. Lots of times the material found used in these necklaces are not real stones, to match the car battery material of the black. This style comes out of the great depreciation and were made from whatever materials could be rounded up. Some of these necklaces can be very valuable. Thanks for sharing.
How valuable would it be compared to one with real stones? Just wondering…
I don’t think the value is in the material on these, more about the provenance. They can be hard to date, but I have seen some from the 1920s - 30s go high.
