Not wearing Turquoise, but a deep relief engraved scrollwork M. M. Rogers trophy buckle in sterling silver. Scott Presler (dark suit), community activist, and voter registration powerhouse.

I see two celebrities: Scott, as well as the man behind the beautiful buckle (and bolo). :+1: Top notch, first class work Mike!

Thanks Aaron! These pieces were created from multi layered hand renderings in Procreate, translated to high resolution layered digital raster files, converted to layered vector files with the scrollwork and shading cut in sterling with layered fine art laser lithography. Altogether about 50 hours in labor in the renderings, with the lithography taking another 8 hours or so per piece. Backgrounds are hand engraved and hand finished using traditional hand engraving techniques.

Awesome stuff, thanks so much for sharing the process! I tend to nerd out on the steps, processes, and ins and outs of how things are accomplished, especially when the task is out of my wheelhouse.

Thanks again, Mike!

Don’t want to hijack the thread with a technical discussion, but I’ll bet you can make some really cool dies for things like repousse, and custom stamps. Stuff I totally geek out on.

Now that I have that out of my system, back to celebrities………

Interesting buckle, Aaron. Unfortunately, I can’t make out detail, but the photo itself is awesome.

I’ve attempted to locate different angles and shots of that buckle in particular, to no avail. I saw the (what I felt was) turquoise and thought the tooled leather belt was great looking as well.

Here is another of Wes from the same Cowboys and Indians photoshoot.
