Turquoise Celebrities

Another photo of Betty White wearing her turquoise ring (@TAH noted above in 2021) - the reading material cracked me up.

I wasn’t familiar with Susan Tedeschi, so I looked her up and found these.

Am I remembering right that she’s known for being a blues artist? My husband’s a huge blues fan, but I don’t think he has anything by her. But we know for sure she has great taste in jewelry

YES YES YES - she’s an amazing artist vocally and on guitar. WIll remind you of Bonnie Raitt. She’s also married to one of GOAT guitarists, Derek Trucks, who is the nephew of Allman Brothers original drummer, Butch Trucks!!

If you watch the movie, you’ll understand why his bolo is a little wacky. That’s the least of his problems. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Mo Brings Plenty more jewelry (see what I did there) to Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2. In many scenes, he’s wearing a squash blossom necklace that appears to be vintage. Anyway, it’s good looking and this is the best photo I could find.

@TAH Yes, we saw what you did there:laughing:. I’m thinkin’ I may need to see all the jewelry he wears this season. Just sayin’…:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:.

ETA: Hmm, my 1st emoji doesn’t show up when the comment is posted. Hmm.

This is from an article in “Garden&Gun” magazine, August/September 2025 issue. An interview with North Carolina silversmith Isaac Dial (Navajo, Lumbee, Tuscarora). Admittedly, this is my first time learning about this artist. He hails from a legacy of artistic talent: father, Grant Dial, was a master jeweler, his grandmothers were Navajo weavers, and his grandfather was a sand painter.

Only in the 70s could you get away with wearing a First Phase style concho belt with a white strap. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Oh, my. I don’t even know what to say about this, lol. Sacrilegious, maybe? Saturday Night Fever? The conchos look like they’re just glued onto his pants since that white strap is hard to see:upside_down_face:.
