I have a turquoise snake ring very similar to work done by Effie. It is stamped GG and Zuni below that. This ring probably came from the Albuquerque area and I know its from the early to mid 1970’s Anyone know it’s origin or artist?
A picture would help. It always seems like it is a family endeavor by the Calavaza clan to make snake jewelry. I don’t find anything in the books that makes sense for a GG, but I did notice in Schaff’s book has a daughter named Gloria Garcia (GG). Thanks for sharing.
