Uploading pics

Is anyone else having trouble getting pictures to upload? I’m thinking it’s just my phone, but it’s really weird. I’m finding I have to screenshot my actual photos before they will load. So weird and annoying.

No issues with an iPhone 14 Pro Max

This is not mine. Just a saved pic of a necklace I liked the look.

Here’s a brooch I thought about buying.
Not mine.
No problems uploading. I look at TP on my Android Motorola phone.

I figured it was just my phone acting weird all of a sudden. Sigh.

Sorry Zia. I have an older iphone13 and although it occasionally has issues, there is no problem uploading.

It’s just so weird. Sometimes it won’t post a picture that I took, just says uploading, but then when I screenshot that picture, the screenshot uploads immediately. Just started doing that like a week ago. My phone is being difficult. Only doing it on the forum though.

Sounds a lot like someone building a case for a new phone

If you have an iPhone the native Apple HEIC image format might not be a readable format for the forum’s software. Screenshots are saved in .PNG format which is pretty much universally readable.

it’s a Samsung. It’s been fine till this past week. Maybe they did an update on the phone that is causing a problem. Oh well.

@StevesTrail I think I’m probably going to need one soon, although I actually hate getting new phones. I’m also going to need a new computer in the next couple months. Grrr

So much for my theory. Almost all of my stuff is Apple, and Mac and that’s how it works when I attempt to go outside of that environment to post images. I have to save them in either .PNG or .JPEG format to get them to upload. Even then if one goes beyond a certain file size, images which are too large are rejected.
