What and who?

Hi all, I have this Santa Domingo style necklace from a family collection, I need to make sure I know what it is and isn’t  the turquoise seems block to me, so is it all? Clasp doesn’t look right. Strung on wire. I know it could be block and native strung. Any input appreciated, as always!

This doesn’t look right at all.
The crimp bead is simply not used in NA jewelry.
And block turquoise is not cool at all.
I think not Santo Domingo made, possibly Asian.

Unfortunately, you can get block jewelry direct from individuals on various reservations and pueblos. Some Santo Domingo artists have incorporated it creatively with other materials, I understand. I don’t think this is such a hybrid, but could definitely have been purchased direct. I appreciate your input/confirmation.

What do you think the red material is?

Not expert enough to know, but probably block? Wasn’t sure about the shell material. And, the pieces are not cut uniformly like you would expect if totally machine made, probably?

The red is or is supposed to be pipestone.

Right, I’m assuming it’s block too
