Found these in a box going thru old stuff… Anyone have any ideas if these are Tibetan? Thai?.. real turquoise? They feel hollow… Thank you, Happy Easter.
Looks like a real turquoise. Have you done any tests to prove that?
Hey Jason , no I have not. I’m not quite sure which “test” to implement …
You could heat a needle and if it melts the stone and make a hole it is not turquoise.
Thank you @Jason. The stones are real…
Now, if I could find the “nationality” of them, I’d feel whole.
While they have some design similarities to NA styles, I think the little dangles at the bottom indicate India.
Thanks so much @JW. Yes. I agree. India… I found some “very busy” looking earrings w/ danglies today. Quite a few belly dancer/ Gypsy styles… I really appreciate the input.
Continuing the discussion from What are these?:
***Bump… Can anyone direct me to a similar style of jewelry? I’m having trouble finding anything closely related! Thanks for any info, guesses or directions .

“vintage native american turquoise chandelier earrings”
Thank you Steve!..
I’m fretting over the silly dangling jmunka balls?!?!
Leaning towards Burmese perhaps… belly dancing chandeliers… Would you agree?
I will agree that this is a tough one to pin down. def not a production piece, little to no matrix, no hallmarks, saw-cut bezels and has some age to it.

I just now noticed the sawtooth bezels… the wire twist(s) also confused me a tad. Well I’ll set my clock back and hopefully have a new outlook tomorrow. thanks Steve .
Ps: these are beauties you sent in the pic …
