What does this symbol mean in Navajo jewelry?

You can see this pattern on many Navajo accessories. It seems that sun rays are made of symmetry, or it looks like some kind of plant like flytrap or fern… What does this symbol mean?

I don’t think it has any particular meaning besides being decorative. I have cuffs with similar shaped stamps in different patterns. The pattern does look slightly plant like; the similar stamp on mine is used in a completely different design. Here’s a little info on how stamps can be passed down through families.

it means “tourists will buy this”

if your cuff was stamped this way it would have shown a limited imagination or understanding of symmetry, patterns, visions, artistry and style~

boring

sorry for the fast photoshop edit but you get the idea

Does your bracelet have a hallmark?

Well, then I’m a tourist because I like stamped stuff :smirk:
