What is it?

Ok so i need the expertise of ya’ll again and by the way im greatful as i have a lot to learn. I took these beads off of a coral necklace. I am mystified as i dont know what they are. I tried breaking one with a hammer and i manged to get a small chip off. So i used the dremel on the end of 2 and the color is pale but consistent through the bead. I give up

Do you have a picture of the coral necklace? Maybe one before you took these beads off?

Jason i may not of posted this correctly. Learning to navigate this site. Here is the necklace before removing stones. Im sending pic of another one i am buying. I hope no one gets it before me. Lol. Im going to take it apart to make other nice pieces.

The 2nd one is the one i am buying today. She took it some where and they broke off a small piec of the stone and said it was real. I have done that before. I love this platform and i am so greatful for your knowledge that i hope to have some day. I have some beautiful Turquoise stones that i cant wait to show you. I hope its ok if i bug you. Lol.

My guess is that the first necklace is not real turquoise, second looks good from what I can see. Possibly Chinese turquoise on the 2nd piece.

Thank you so much for your valuable time Jason. I cant wait to get that necklace. I only paid $30 for it. I will post some better pics too. I do have another favor…please! I bought this absolutely stunning old strand of Turquoise. However there are just a couple pieces that are very different and i think they are Turquoise but need your opion. I will send the stones in question then i will show you all that was on the necklace. I. Appreciate your time Jason and if you ever want me to make a necklace or bracelet out of beads you have i can do that for you. Not exactly sure if you are a silver smith a beader or collector but the offer stands.

The first pic with just a few stones are the ones in question. If you need a better pic i will send it. They are smooth stones.

Jason here are better pics of the stones in question.

Here are all the stones off the strand. They are more Turquoise/ robins egg blue, the cell phone can not take pics of the color Turquoise without distorting the color. Wierd right.

Pretty stones. I find the best pictures are in natural light before the sun is too bright. I also use the 6 led lights in my bathroom. Turn the flash off-the reflection changes everything. And lastly don’t do a bunch of editing. All I do it hit the highlight button and then crop the extra from the edges.
Jason is part of Perry Null Trading so he has seen and handled a lot of turquoise.

It’s always hard to tell from an image, they look to be turquoise. Looks to be stabilized. Not the style we think of when say old beads, what is the age?

Thanks, i picked out the prettiest pieces and making a necklace with some white coral beads from the 70’s. Should be pretty.

Dont know for sure. They were dirty and had some tarnished beads in between so i figured they had been around awhile. They cleaned up nice
