These beads dont look like other Chinese Turquoise beads that i have. Any ideas? I was curious about the light and dark beads. They dont look dyed but i am wondering what kind of Turquoise has this mottled color.
It is difficult to tell, I would assume they are Chinese. However, they appear to be a lower quality stone and have a wide range of color most likely due to the treatment.

I’ve seen turquoise that has different colors in it (i.e. Royston), but it looks totally different than this, which, like Jason says, appears to be from the stabilizing. I don’t know how to describe why in words except…it just looks different. This looks odd.
