Loloma style inlay ring

I bought this ring that immediately reminded me of the work of Charles Loloma. While it definitely isn’t a Loloma, I’m wondering if this might be a student of his? I have seen the mark posted here on the forum before but I was unable to find the post. Additionally, what is the pink stone? I’m thinking it would really be hard to resize this ring bigger. Maybe you could check with some place like Perry Null and Gallup, NM, and see if they have any thoughts.

Isn’t it fitting on your pinky? The photo looks like it is. Maybe you mean on another finger it isn’t working. Well, a pinky is an option. Also, people wear a ring as a pendant slide sometimes; is that possibly appealing? Agree with @Ziacat it’s not a candidate for enlarging.

I thought the same as @chicfarmer. I think it would be gorgeous worn a on turquoise beads/heishi. Something like this:

@Bmpdvm That’s a great idea. My only thoughts were to use either a sterling chain or a leather cord but, I think a ring on heishi beads looks terrific!
