A weird chain of events today helped me solve a mystery.
Preface:
I have this bracelet and it is marked with just a “P”.
I bought it from an antique mall in rural NM.
The tag said “Tiffani Par”. I searched and searched, but could never find anyone by that name who makes jewelry.
Today I was looking at Instagram, and noticed Floyd Parkhurst’s page. His tufa work is great. His style seemed quite familiar to me.
I decided to “follow” him. Then I got a notice that he followed me back! Cool!
So I was going through his page, and discovered that his wife is Tiffanni Parkhurst.
The maker of my bracelet.
The tag from the antique mall was spelled wrong!
Happens all the time, though.
@Stracci Happy for you! When the stars align… it was meant to be that you discover the silversmith who made your Fabulous cuff. What a wonderful jewelry story!
@Patina It was so weird to stumble upon this information today!
After all that research last year, the info just dropped into my lap. A fun coincidence!
I think @Xtina has Floyd Parkhurst earrings, shown in another thread.
Well, how wild is that!! Imma have to Google those artists. If your ever run out of space to store your cuffs, I can definitely help you out with this one
I remember that bracelet–I really like it and I’m so glad you solved the mystery! As a funny coincidence I just bought a Floyd Parkhurst bracelet when I was in AZ last week. And I also followed him on IG after finding my bracelet and he followed me back as well. Tiffany should really get a more unique stamp; Floyd’s is a P inside a bear paw.
Thanks! I love the heavy silver, slightly edgy, slightly biker Native look. Your bracelet is gorgeous too, such an elegant and unique tufa design and a pretty stone.
