Hi there. I am new to this forum and looking forward to it! This beautiful, old rug has been in my family for years and has been packed safely away. I checked a bit online and I “think” it is a Navajo rug. It is approx. 25 inches by 50 inches. Hoping to learn more about it – what type of rug, what is the design called and what does it symbolize, how old is it, etc. Thank you!

Pretty rug. Could be Navajo. You might try researching Ganado and Klagetoh rugs and see if anything lines up.
