Zuni Cuff inlay bracelet

In 1971 I was given a bracelet by a now deceased relative. I know only he had picked it up on a trip from his home in LA. The marking inside is faint but there. It is not a stamp, but hand inscribed: S P Boone Zuni. The last few letters are joined as in cursive writing. Is this a known Zuni artist? Is there a name for the design? Value?

This is a classic Zuni inlay design. When the stones are set against each other it is called mosaic. The design does not have a meaning. We have similar works for around $90. I am not familiar with S P Boone. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Jason for the information! And Sherry for the nice comment.

Hi- I received this Zuni bracelet from my mom who got it from a relative in Pasadena 30 plus years ago. It has a Yazzie stamp on the inside. Any info about this particular bracelet in terms of age and artist? It is a real beauty. Unique because the band is not symmetrical. Also interesting selection of stones. Thanks- Claudia

Claudia, hope someone can help. I know nothing about these beautiful pieces.

Janice- thanks for replying. After posting my bracelet on your comment thread I figured out how to start my own thread. Thanks- and sorry for the confusion. By the way, love your bracelet!
