Who is artist WK (mark on inside of bracelet) and is there a story to the image? I received this lovely kachina bracelet as a gift from a relative in Arizona and would love any information about it, when it was made, as well as value. Also advice on cleaning? thank you.
I couldn’t find anything on a WK hallmark. This style is referred to as chip inlay and was made popular during the 1970s by Tommy Singer. We use a polishing cloth here at the store, they can be ordered on Amazon. The figure is a Navajo Holy Person called a Yei’. If we had this bracelet is would sell around $120 - $150. Thank you for sharing.
thank you for getting back to me with this information.
