I’ll have to do the usual hunt-round and temporary streaming switcheroo to figure out who has it in Canada. I think it’s AMC/AMC+ here, too, plus perhaps Crave TV.

Yes, I’ve done that before! One of my favorite shows was Transplant which is a Canadian show, and I had to hunt all over to find it.

Just watched the season 3 trailer…yazzah! But I love suspense and cop shows; combine that with good NA characters, you’ve got a winner! I’ve been meaning to read the series again, but glad I haven’t (yet😄).

Just finished watching first episode of season 3. Daaang. Intense.
It’s in my queue to start the season. I’m so ready to return to these characters and landscape.

They loosely combined several books, but I’m liking that, since then I still recognize plot lines a bit.
Saw some turquoise rings, but one of the little touches I loved was that I heard quail calls in the background (they sound like mini peacocks to me). I hear them constantly at my friend’s house in Phoenix.

I just read this great interview by Cowboys and Indians Magazine with Anne Hillerman. Very interesting! She discusses taking the reins of the legacy of her father’s books, her new book, and Dark Winds.
And the interviewer mentions in the article that Dark Winds has been renewed for a fourth season. Yay!
