Do You Recognize this Hallmark?

I need some help, please. I purchased this Long Hair kachina/katsina pin/pendant because I really like it. I believe it to be Hopi made(:crossed_fingers:), but now I’m not so sure. I haven’t been able to identify this hallmark either in my resource books or online. Is it “tm” with a parrot head, “t” with feathers & a parrot head, or a “cross” with feathers & a parrot head? I’m at a loss. Any thoughts, comments are appreciated!

it almost looks like north star or a starburst instead of a cross, with a joined M and extended L, with the snail/swirl and a feather tip all growing from the extended L?

It’s a beautiful pin, and it’s certainly looks Hopi. But gosh, I had no luck either, although I’m sure you looked in the same places I did. I’m wondering if I need an updated version of the Hopi silversmithing book.

Maybe the Hopi Cultural Center gift shop on Second Mesa would have an idea? I shopped there once decades ago, and they were helpful in finding out an artist for a cuff of mine. Here is a link to the center, but I couldn’t find a specific # just for the gift shop, although you can find information about it if you scroll down.

I don’t have a clue who made your pin-pendant, but I do think it’s lovely, @Patina!
