Cute Fred Harvey turquoise studs, still on card stock for just $7.50!

Those are cute! The Fred Harvey tag prob just means they were sold in a shop owned by the Fred Harvey company such as the El Tovar Hotel at the Grand Canyon. I wouldn’t call them Fred Harvey style. I have bought several earrings in the past with that on the card at places like that. A lot of those shops are owned by other companies now (like Xanterra at Grand Canyon).

I have a few more to add.
I just got this beautiful pair of flower earrings by Navajo Robert Johnson. @Khmetalwork saw that I said I almost bought a pair at The Eiteljorg Indian Art Market a few yrs back, and she offered to sell them to me. I jumped at her offer, and they are here, yay! They are a bit bigger than the ones I originally looked at, but they hang really nicely from my ears. I was looking online at some of his other pieces, and I’m definitely going to have to get back to his booth when (hopefully) he’s at the market next summer.

I forgot to post these pretty Zuni earrings I got many years ago in the pawn section at the Cameron Trading Post in AZ. And then the other silver birch bark pair are not native made (although locally made in the UP of MI), but I think they’re really pretty, and I wear them a lot.

Edit: I did previously post the Zuni earrings, oops, I guess I just posted them again

@tepowell Beautiful collection. I especially like the squash blossoms w/turquoise in the lower right hand corner. They’re gorgeous!

@patina, thanks! I got those from Rodey Lee Guerro at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe in 2019. He had an amazing necklace that matched, with a HUGE stone-but the earrings were my limit, couldn’t pass them up!

@nanc9354 Pretty earrings! Lapis? The only hallmark I was able to find online is: Q Quam Sr, Zuni on a few pieces of jewelry. Sorry, I didn’t come across a QQ hallmark either online or in my Hougart’s 3rd edition hallmarks book. Hopefully, others on the forum will have more info about this hallmark.

@nanc9354 I did not find QQ in Hougart 5th edition. Wish I could have found this for you.

Thank you and @Patina for looking. I did find these online. :woman_shrugging:

Sketch from my design archives. Earrings designed but not yet made. I always loved this concept, but in retrospect it should have been designed as a full hoop.

I believe this is the first time anyone this particular design has ever been seen outside of my design files. (C) 1991, M.M. Rogers.

It’s beautiful; I’m assuming that it represents one of the pueblos? It also reminds me of Bethlehem for some reason …

Sort of a composite of Pueblos I’ve visited or spent time in. Love all of them, but Taos, Acoma, and Mesa Verde are my favorites for artistic inspiration. I can see what you mean about Bethlehem. Looking at photos of villages the Middle East and North Africa, they really do have a lot in common with the way the Pueblo tribes build their houses. Just for fun, I’m posting a photo I like taken out of a friends back window in Acoma.
