So we were discussing in the heishi thread about how to combine and wear our stuff. In April I stopped at a little coffee house in Bluff, and the lovely young Navajo barista told me she liked my “bling,” so therefore the topic title I’ll start, but I hope lots of you join in; we all need fun ideas on how to wear our investments.
I wore these 3 together to Church yesterday. I like the different lengths, and I could have added my silver beads in there yet. I often wear just the choker and long one together because I like the look (sorry, took pic in bad lighting).
Later I switched to these 3 plus the pendant. They would also look cool with a pendant on the long necklace, but that was just a bit too much at the time.
Lastly (for now) I like the look of all these together, rings and cuffs. I don’t always double up per wrist on cuffs for work, because they don’t fit well under my work jackets. But I always wear one on each anyway.
I even wear it with my boring work uniform - lapis matches the shirts. Can’t wear the bigger pieces, but lots of smaller earrings/rings/bracelets get worn all the time.
I will try to get some photos of my combos.
I have to be caareful what I wear to work. Who knew that certain types of beer cause silver to tarnish?
PS: I work part time as a bartender at a large brew pub.
Virgil Reeder, outside Gallup. I got it direct from him after seeing it online on FB, I got the impression he doesn’t go through galleries. I love Royston and I needed a “subtle” piece!
