Oops, should have read @Patina’s post and looked closer…it is a swallow! Either way Fab! And by Robert Begay…I’m a fan of his and Darryl’s creations!
I think I know why I assumed your pendant was an eagle…back in 2023 at the Heard show, Robert had an unfinished bolo at their table that was already sold. I took a picture, planning to have him make me a pendant with a similar eagle image. Got busy and forgot about it, yours has awakened my thoughts…may talk to him at market

Thanks guys! Although I get the occasional comment on my jewelry, most people where I am don’t really fully appreciate it, so it’s fun to share it with people who do.
@Phoenix7 @chicfarmer the Robert Begay pendant, earrings, and Jesse Robbins cuff were all Heard Museum Fair purchases over 2 separate years. I’ve done really well there; perhaps even better than at the Santa Fe Market.

Where I come from, it’s so rare that I see anyone wearing NA jewelry that if you walked by me wearing that jewelry, not only would I comment, I would stop and ask you if you’re lost. 
Everything is beautiful, Orbit. You wear it exceptionally well.

I hear you. I live in a turquoise desert. 20 years ago when there were still antiques stores & malls here, you could find NA jewelry now and then. All those places are long gone, though. Every once in a while, a stranger will comment on a turquoise pin or ring that I’m wearing.

I sure get that. It is very rare to see anyone wearing Native American jewelry here, and people really don’t notice or comment on it at all. Trendy (and oftentimes cheap) jewelry is way more popular here.

We have those stores here in North Carolina! They have all kinds of boots, western clothes and accessories. Now I’m going to have to go over there and check it out for this, but unless I’ve missed something there, if they do carry this it would be costume, not the genuine item.
Edited to add: ah. OO’s comment made me realize that someone had actually thought that you bought it at a franchise store like boot barn. Wow! Are people so ignorant that they can’t tell the difference between something quality and a cheap copy?

It’s tough to convey sarcasm through messaging. I really don’t think this young man had much knowledge on the subject. And try as I did to share, he quickly became bored.
I really did try to politely clarify the situation, but felt it was falling on deaf ears.

Amazing!! Love it all, but the swallow is perfection. And you’ve inspired me again. I’ve not worn my Thunderbird on it’s paper clip chain with any other necklaces (I always thought I preferred it by itself), but now I may have to try, because I really like the look of yours together. And I really wish I could wear earrings like that, but they would just not work on my right earlobe. Oh well, I’ll enjoy yours!

Thank you, and I hope you can get one of his cuffs someday - keep your eyes open; you never know where you might find one! I think my timing was just right, because much of his stuff that I love is out of my budget. His cuff was the most I had ever spent on a piece of jewelry, and it was even one of his lower priced pieces. But it was the one that fit, and that I liked the best. Around here, it’s also one of my most noticed pieces of jewelry. I agree with some of the other posts that the majority of people in our area don’t understand Native American jewelry, but I personally am getting more and more people asking me about my bling, and saying how much they love it.
I also think his prices were a bit lower in '23 when he was at the market.

@Jemez2 thanks! The swallow is one of my absolute favorites, too. I saw it at the Fair and just had to have it. I think Robert is so talented. I’m glad I got this one when I did, though, because lately he seems to be making really high end stuff with gold and very high end stones. It’s beautiful and top quality, but I’m so glad I was able to get this pendant that was more affordable. I also love pretty much anything Cheyenne does.
