How do we combine and wear our Native American bling

Please bear with me as I continue to mix and match (or scroll on by!!)

I started the thread, so I say you keep on posting! I enjoy it. I’ll add something down the road.

Love your combination, love the pendant!! And the earrings are perfect with the necklaces.

That pendant is really nice!

Thank you, it definitely called to me! I need to work a bit on my selective hearing

That cracked me up

Weirdly my selective hearing worked better on our trip last week than at the Eiteljorg; my shopping dry spell must have gone on too long prior to that

You hit the mark with this combo! The turquoise in your earrings really complements your turquoise necklace. I’m drooling over your Ruben Saufkie pendant:heart_eyes:.

I feel the same way, thus a morning spent combining a few pieces while attempting to decide what to take to Santa Fe. I won’t post pictures of everything, but I kinda like this combination ( haven’t decided on bracelet, earrings and ring:grimacing:).
Beads: Cippy Crazyhorse
Pendant: Ben Nighthorse Campbell
Heishi: Deanna Tenorio

Thanks @Stracci:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. It feels so good to wear. I got it at Market last year. She is always at the Wheelwright Museum Market on Museum Hill on Friday and Saturday.

This is one of my favorite thread / post topics to follow and peruse while trying not to drool. :upside_down_face:

Finally decided to share a combo I wore recently.

Milford Calamity kitty ring with #8 turquoise (Thank you @tepowell for sharing your Calamity kitty earrings which sent me on a mission to find a special Calamity kitty ring to memorialize my Diesel Weasel kitty that we said goodbye to in April.) Kitty posing with my hand is another one of our cats, Maynerd.

Chris Etsitty turquoise earrings (can’t remember which mine; I replaced the original fishhook findings with leverbacks to prevent loss from tangling and getting pulled out from my ‘unruly in the humidity curls’),

Variscite (New Lander) ring purchased 2nd hand from reseller in 2021 (originally from Mama Stone Vintage on E***)

Vintage Child’s cuff with unknown turquoise.

I’m so glad you are enjoying this thread!

Great combo, and beautiful stones in all the pieces. And a Milford Calamity kitty cat ring! I love it, so fun. He ran out of those very quickly at the Eiteljorg market back in June. Your other large ring also reminds of his work, and it’s gorgeous.

The necklace is cute too, but your real kitty is the best

I love your kitty ring! (And your entire ensemble) I had my eye on one on his website but missed it… when I saw the earrings at Eiteljorg, I knew I was supposed to have those  we too lost a kitty earlier this year, her brother is still a bit bewildered. So sorry, it’s hard.

I’m so sorry, I just read that that you lost your kitty; somehow I missed that. We talked about him in another thread, because I loved his name. You also encouraged me about my kitty who was diagnosed with kidney disease at age 3, but she is doing well. I know Maynerd will never take your Diesel’s place, but he is a handsome fellow!

And @tepowell, I’m sorry you also recently lost a kitty. We love them, don’t we!

I know I mentioned this before, but my Turquoise People name comes from a little kitten we lost right before I joined the forum.

Beautiful set! Of course your kitty ring is the show stopper. I love Calamity"s style. So sorry to hear about your fur baby. Lost one of mine, who happened to be my best friend little over a year ago, and I still haven’t gotten over it. It’s sweet that your ring was purchased in remembrance of him.

All beautiful pieces, @Tinyturqgrl! Milford’s kitties are very popular!

@tepowell I am so sorry you lost your kitty, too.:mending_heart: It is so very hard and sometimes more heartbreaking on a different level to see their fur buddies look for them. Were they close in age?

Our Diesel Weasel was 18 yrs old. Maynerd kitty (who is diabetic) and Izzy Huggy Bear are littermates and each 14 yrs old. They did look for Diesel for about the first 2 months… It seemed to help to leave Diesel’s things available and out (special blanket and bed) for a while even though it was hard for me to see them.

Hope it is OK to put a pic of Izzy and Maynerd here.

@Phoenix7 So sorry you lost a treasured fur baby, too. :mending_heart::heart:

@Ziacat I remember hearing you lost a kitten, too. So awful when we lose them so young. :broken_heart: We had a black and white kitten named Annabelle Sloopy (Ohio State fan) that we lost to what we think was FIP at 9 months of age. That was devastating.
I remember your Mosi! So handsome. How is Mosi doing?

IMO, cats are welcome anywhere. Have you seen Simon’s Cat on FB?

Thank you, @Tinyturqgrl. They were litter mates, 11 years old. She got sick suddenly and traumatically, so from his perspective, she just disappeared. Ash is the boy, very fluffy and puppy-like; his sister Freya is on the right in the picture.

Love your kitties! Yes, Mosi is doing well. She still has mild kidney disease, but the Dr said one of her levels went back to normal. Here she is right before we left on vacay. I was wondering if she would worry when she saw us packing, but…

Somebody just wanted to play.
