How do we combine and wear our Native American bling

@Stracci you look fabulous! Do you know who made that amazing coral needlepoint pendant? It’s so unique and you just rock it with the spiny necklace and coral ring

Thanks. I don’t know what kind of turquoise it is. It was an estate sale find. It’s fairly old I think. But I could be wrong.

It’s not signed but I often wondered if it could be a Simplicio.

Did you see the similar one on eBay up for auction?

Thanks Orbit Orange!
I could never quite make out the last name on this coral brooch/pendant. I think it’s J. Laate
Here’s a shot of the front and back.

It’s even more beautiful up close. That’s what the inscription looks like to me.

Just reread some of these posts again. Turquoise People, don’t listen to him; he does not have an ugly mug

Looking forward to some more of your combos eventually.

@Ziacat -

You’re right. We all love inspiration from other passionate people :slightly_smiling_face:.

OK. Just chilling in shorts and t-shirt after an active Saturday morning. But I spied my show-stopper Orville Tsinnie cuff in the wardrobe and decided to give it a spin in the daylight. But I kept the rest low key - silver beads and silver concho ring to set it off. Topped with some yummy Rick Martinez earrings to balance the turquoise in the picture.

It’s all so beautiful, and you look wonderful in it. TBH I generally don’t prefer cuffs with a really, really big stone, but I would make an exception for that!

The turquoise in both earrings in the cuff is so intense and gorgeous.

@Ziacat - Yes, I’m with you on the big stones. This one was my exception. It’s so much easier to build an attractive combination of pieces when they’re of similar intensities. Harder with an “in your face” one, especially if it’s not worn in the center of the composition.

When I say that, it doesn’t mean I think cuffs with one giant stone aren’t beautiful, just not usually my taste. But with yours you can still see some really lovely silver work around it. Would you mind showing the side of it? Also do you know what mine it’s from? It reminds me of some Pilot Mountain and Royston I’ve seen.

I have no idea which mine the stone came from. The cuff was an incredibly lucky estate sale find. And yes, lots of lovely silver. It weighs 134 g. Here are some pics:

Yes, seeing it closer I wouldn’t have any guess on the turquoise either. Thanks for sharing more photos, it’s a stunning cuff.

Ooh, your earrings are beauties! And, what a gorgeous statement cuff! I’m amazed that it was found at an estate sale😍. All your jewelry looks wonderful on you. I’m going to roll the dice and guess that it’s Royston turquoise in your cuff.

Ah yes, I see we discussed it here:

I didn’t see the ebay one. Was it attributed to Dan?

I had a pendant with very similar turquoise from the Pilot Mountain mine. Similar color of stone, and host rock.
See what you can find on that mine.
