Ideas on stone, hallmark?

I love unusual stones, and these earrings called out. Would appreciate collective input on the stone and the hallmark (I think it’s an A?). Thanks all, really enjoying being part of this community and learning from you all

Can’t comment on the mark but you have great taste in turquoise.

Thanks  always had a weakness for the more unusual ones!

Gorgeous piece!

Re: the mark, while I don’t have an answer for you, I do think that it’s a 2-letter mark, with the second part mostly rubbed or obliterated. After the A there’s a crossbar that could belong to a T, a J or maybe an I. (This is supported by the obliteration of the latter half of the word STERLING. A 2-lettered mark would be centred over the Sterling bit.)

Here’s the mark on the other earring, too, FYI

In that case, I retract what I said! It’s just an “A”

Ha ha, it’s all good! I just wish I could identify it for you.

My best guess is this, but I don’t really think it’s a match. .

@tepowell Wowee! Terrific earrings & gorgeous turquoise stones! That hallmark looks like an “A” to me. Just my 2 cents.

Turquoise Mountain? Kingman? Those are my guesses.
