This was my grandmothers so it’s quite old. I don’t have much info. Other than my hunch that it might be #8 Turquoise. Any opinions are welcome. Thank you!
@Bnorred Hi & Welcome. That’s a very pretty turquoise necklace. If possible, could you please post a photo of the entire back of the necklace. It’s often helpful to see the closure mechanism and any marks on the piece. I’m not leaning toward #8 turquoise but, that’s only an opinion.
I added photos. Thank you!
@Bnorred Thank you for posting the additional photos. I was hoping to find some info for you about Rose Abeyta but, she isn’t listed in my Bille Hougart’s Native American Hallmarks book (3rd edition). Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. This is a special necklace and I hope you enjoy wearing it.
No worries. Thank you for the effort. I have also googled and there’s not much
she made the 5th edition but other info is slim

That’s a lovely necklace with the beautiful handmade beads. Rose Abeyta’s work is nice. I had a necklace by her but sold it a few years ago. I’ll see if I can find a picture. I also had trouble finding out much about her.
