Impulse buy

I went on to SGW late at night just to check it out while my dish was in the oven. Right away I found this with 7 minutes to go. Quickly did a google search and it seems like an Antonio Pineda design…they did not mention any hallmark so it could be another artist using his design… Anyway…I have a pair of AP earrings that match this…so I couldn’t resist. ~$100. To polish or not to polish? I think it would look great all polished

Cool bracelet. Has a water wheel look. Could also be Scandinavian. Check for tiny hallmarks.

That’s funny that @StevesTrail said that, we took a hike in AZ called Water Wheels Trail. It does look like a water wheel (there was a giant old one at the start of the trail)!

It’s a really cool and interesting piece. Normally I’m not a polisher, but this one looks like it needs it. I can’t tell how big it is - is it a cuff? You could maybe also use it as a weapon

gorgeous! i have a small collection of Taxco pieces, and i feel they always look better polished since they are generally very modernistic designs. it looks like the tab on the clasp may have been repaired or replaced (shinier than the rest), and i find that is sometimes where the hallmarks would be.

Nice! Like @Jemez2, Taxco immediately came to mind. Evidently you thought so too since you mention Antonio Pineda! I typically like my good heavy sterling pieces kept polished, so I vote to remove the tarnish.
Hope there is a readable hallmark…let us know😊

Thank you for all the nice comments, I will let you know when I get it if there are any hallmarks…and I agree that this piece should be polished. now I need a spiked collar…:joy::rofl:

Yeah, I agree. I think the modernist pieces look better polished. If it’s old, it will still will still retain a certain amount of darkness to it… it probably won’t look completely shiny. I think it’s very cool!

It’s very interesting! If you polish it would love to see how it turns out!

This was not an impulse buy. Bought this lot. Usually I like to have 2-3 things in the lot that I like. There is the Relios sunface. Zuni earrings by Clifton Cheama, lapis pendant by Spencer, a cool Taxco dragon pendant, a CII bird pendant, a dainty Fred Harvey cuff, a dainty Opal cuff, sunface watch tips and the reason I bought this…a petrified wood cuff…signed CUZZ? Does anyone know who that may be? Any idea of the age of the petrified wood cuff? I was disappointed that it was too small. I will probably keep the petrified cuff, lapis pendant, Zuni earrings and FH cuff.

Love that petrified wood cuff! I’m betting CUZZ is a traders code

I polished it up the best that I could…it is an Antonio Pineda…Yeah! The crown hallmark is almost worn off but you can clearly see Eagle 17 and it is 970 silver. Just a bit too tight.

Congrats on your buy. I agree with @Ziacat, CUZZ, looks typical of a trader code.
I love the Dragon pin and the Pineda bracelet is killer (in more than one way😳).
