Indian Silver and Knife Photography

Thought I would resurrect an old thread with my new buckle and see if there are any new knife enthusiasts on the forum who would like to share some photos. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ll add this c1920s Marble’s Canoe knife with my latest (sold as old pawn) bracelet I just cut and replaced a Sleeping Beauty stone in.

Good one, Steve! Love those old Marble’s knives. Your blade has really nice patina. :+1:

Cool buckle! It has a kind of mid century modern/White Hogan look combined with Zuni figural inlay; a really unexpected combination.

Thanks OO! In case you missed it in the Belt Buckle thread, thanks to @Steve’s detective work, the buckle could be a Dean Kirk designed piece.

My Daddy always carried a pocket knife. I thought I had inherited 2-3 of them but, I can’t locate them. So, this is all I have to share. A lady’s antique utility knife monogrammed “CJC” & engraved on the other side with “Washington School 1911”. Each blade at the bottom is stamped “I*XL George Wostenholm Sheffield England”. Perhaps it was hung from a chain around the neck or part of a chatelaine. The other is my terrific lil Buck knife that I always carry in my purse.

Oh yeah I definitely missed that. I can’t keep up with the belt thread. And once I get 100 posts or so behind it becomes so overwhelming that I can’t face it and get even more behind.

But I did recently see that box on the Brown’s website and thought it was really cool. My thunderbird pin that you’ve always liked is stamped UITA 22 for Dean Kirk Trading Post.

So everyone knows which thunderbird we’re talking about…:slightly_smiling_face:
