It certainly does! Your tray is marvelous, @Bmpdvm, and that salad set would make any dishware look impressive. The stamp work on your new pieces is impressive, and very tasteful. Thank you for sharing!
Yay @Ziacatā¦another Fiesta lover. I agree turquoise and coral are my favorite and my first sets!
Fab silver pieces! Congrats, real stunners. The tobacciana-looking tray is quite a special find. When youāre tired of it, send it over here. Interesting tidbit about Ike Wilson!
Another Fiesta household. I swapped away some silly wedding silver pieces (like a covered butter dishālol ) to acquire our first Fiestaware pieces eons ago. My kitchen cabinets are topped with vintage Fiesta teapots, carafes, and disk pitchers. EDIT: And mixing bowls.
Love it!!! Another fiesta hoarderš¤£. Fiesta just screams Southwest cafe style.
AND itās darn sturdy. Iāve actually dropped pieces of it on our kitchen floor and it never broke.
I donāt have that much of it, just some large and small plates, cereal bowls, and mugs. I did buy a couple pitchers just because I think theyāre cool looking, and they reside on a shelf in our family room.
Love it! I have that same larger turquoise pitcher on a shelf in our family room! Plus a coral one.
I totally get giving away the silver wedding stuff. I didnāt get anything silver, but got a crystal cake plate that Iām never going to use, so it went bye bye. But I do have a fiestaware covered butter dish
That reminded me of the hurricane lamps I also dumped for Fiesta. I guess they had silverplate bases with etched-glass chimneys. I bet there are lots of those sets lurking somewhere.
I also have a Fiesta covered butter dish.
We didnāt get any of those as gifts, but I think I would have donated them eventually for sure But we do have two true antique, really cool looking hurricane lamps that we actually use (no silver bases or extra glass though
). My dad collected a lot of antiques to put in the store as display, so we ended up with a few things.
Iāve never seen the fiestaware carafe, or any like the one next to it on your shelf, the orange one. Those are really cool.
Oh, now you did it @chicfarmer, Iāll have to put some pitchers, etc up on top of my cabinets: hereās a few of mine, and the pitchers, teapots, carafes, and bowls that will go up tomorrow! There may be a few Bower pieces mixed in too. I had a turquoise disk pitcher, but it was dropped and broke during our move. I have additional pieces in my pantry because theyāre sooo heavy, I donāt want my cabinets to collapse!
This Fiestaware haven is a couple hours from us, dangerous!
Seriously Ooh la la there. Some of it I donāt know, like that rose pitcher with the angled arm (Harlequin?) and those gorgy ribbed footed bowls. Say more about them!
I have most of my old Fiestaware offline and use the new stuff for everyday. [and apologies, hope our fellow members can tolerate a little diversion into Fiestaland ]
This is the only Fiestaware in our household. They belong to Ziggy and Marley. I believe them to be scarlet and turquoise.
Maybe one day we will replace the current dinnerware with Fiestaware.
OMG⦠now Jackson will want to eat out of Fiesta bowls⦠not that heās already too spoiledš!
I recently came across this bell from the 40ās, and thought the male figure with his wearing blanket was really neat.
I like him too. Wouldnāt that be fun to have as a dinner bell When we stayed at Naomi house this summer, they had a big bell outside that we would ring when it was time to eat. I could certainly use one at family gatherings!
@Ravenscry. That is just not only unique, but dogone cool! Donāt you just love this stuff!
