I just find this Neclace here in Serbia at auction. So now before i buy it i just want to be sure what it is.
Is this authentic Native American necklace? Any idea of the maker and period?
Check this previous post about the feather mark. Art-Amerindien has it as unidentified. Clasp is not typical NA. Has a nice look though and if you like it for the right price…

Billy the Kid auction sold a pendant with the same hallmark and K.Y. It was attributed to Kay Yazzie. The mark may be an unidentified shop mark.

In my opinion this necklace is unlikely to be Native American made. Necklace part looks like imported pen shell heishe and machine made beads strung together haphazardly with turquoise beads. Not handmade materials and not in the style of any particular tribe. Turquoise looks Chinese.
