I’m sharing this for fun more than anything. It’s a really little pendant I found at a local consignment store - no provenance, no markings. The turquoise is a slightly deeper blue in real life. Given how hefty most Navajo pieces are, I found its Lilliputian dimensions rather amusing! No idea if it’s the real thing, of course.
Pendant is 3/4” long (excluding bail), 1/2” at widest point
Stone is 1/2” long, 1/4” wide*
Comments are very welcome (guesses at age, turquoise type, NA or not?), but I don’t expect anyone to say “Wow, that’s so-and-so’s work!” as it really is a bit on the generic side. It’s cute, though
One question about terminology, is the flat area surrounded by swirls what some people call “shadowbox”?
