Ring form the 70s artist help

My mom found this ring when she was young. She grew up in Buena Park, California. Does anyone know who this artist might be? Thank you!

I’m thinking this may be one of the Maisel’s hallmarks, but I’m really not sure. It doesn’t seem quite right, but the ring seems like that kind of shop work. I’m not able to get to my hallmark book right now.

@Ziacat ‘s instincts are dead on. There’s no individual “artist” behind this ring. Its a manufactured piece comprised of ready made industrial cast or machine stamped components. Probably assembled by hand in a commercial workshop setting. Any artistry is attributable only to the company’s designer who provided drawings to a wax carver who made a prototype approved by the company owner or production manager for mass production by their casters, and press operators.

70’s? Who knows? I’m curious though. Respectfully, you clearly have no idea how the ring was made, or what processes were used. Why are you representing it as a “70’s” ring? Is there paperwork or a receipt that dates its purchase to the 70’s?
