Thank you @nanc9354 I purchased “#8 rough” through eBay. Here is the story behind the turquoise and set Robert made for me.
Wow. Quite a collection. I bet you have so much fun wearing them! Soon you will run out of storage space 
I left 100+ heat at NAOMI House near Winslow, and now our temps here are in the 90’s and uggy humid - but I still love summer!! It was in the 70’s and 80’s here while I was gone, of course (major eye roll).

Thank you @Ziacat I wear something each time we leave the house. As for storage, Scott bought me a nice “jewelry” safe.
We had a guy in NV tell us once it hits 95° or higher it all feels the same. I’m not sure I believe him.

Hmmm… Nope, not to me. It was 112 in Phoenix and that felt worse than 103 where we were at. The last couple days it was 99 with strong winds, and TBH that felt no worse than 93 here with high humidity.

@here4turquoise…I love Cortez, not only for Notah Dineh Trading Co., but because it’s the gateway to one of my favorite places, Mesa Verde! What other trading post do you recommend in Cortez?
I Love the heishi choker/ silver bead combination you’re wearing! Throughout my collecting I’ve never been interested in multi color heishi/bead necklaces, but seeing yours and all that has been posted on the heishi threat, I’m slowly coming around to drinking the juice😄. I’m going to keep my eyes open for a great choker/necklace on my next Southwest trip

We shopped at Kilgore Indian Art and Mud Creek Hogan in Mancos CO. In Cortez, we purchased at Notah-Dineh and Patina Trails.
Notah-Dineh is where I purchased the two strand turquoise. There were several other items I would have bought had I not blown my budget.
Patina Trails is a boutique type shop with contemporary Anglo and some older N.A. estate jewelry. I believe they are fairly new.
Kelly Kilgore has high end natural stone jewelry. I purchased an Anthony Lovato cuff, the coin silver naja and a Bowannie pendant from her. She has pottery and rugs in addition to her jewelry.
Mud Creek Hogan has fairly new owners, three years IIRC. I believe it is a dad and daughter team. They have a bit of everything there. Including an early 70s long bed F250 that I would have brought home with me if I were mechanically inclined. I love that they play bluegrass music in their TP.
We have been to this area twice and have not gone to Mesa Verde yet. We have the pup(s) with us and don’t want to leave them in the truck or trailer.
One more note on Cortez, check out The Wigglin Pig. It was one of our best meals on our seven week tour. We ate on their patio with our pup.

@here4turquoise Wow! Thanks for all the info! I’ve been through that area many times (my sister had a second home in Pagosa Springs). I’ve always bought from Notah-Dineh and Jackson Clark at Toh-Atin Gallery in Durango. Glad to hear about the The Wigglin Pig…when my husband and I do road trips, our lab always comes along too! He is really good traveler and unless it’s too hot, he typically stays in the truck when we go inside to dine (which is good since he’s a walking stomach and we are careful he doesn’t get too heavy). Love all the wonderful pieces you’ve posted…what a fabulous haul😬

Good for you and your Hubby! My husband is not interested in shopping…but like yours, he appreciates my collection and bought me a great jewelry safe ( and I still have to keep a lot of it in his gun safe😄).

Thanks! Yes, Sonoran Gold. The things that call to me keep getting pricier for some reason! (Fortunately the Perry Null staff didn’t have to find a CPR video on YouTube for my husband
