Turquoise Artwork

@Ziacat Amazing picture! The paint looks young and a little flighty…kinda scary on the edge of a bluff😬.

Does anyone subscribe to this magazine? I occasionally page through it at the bookstand, but haven’t pulled the trigger on subscribing.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the artist, but this is pretty cute.

I have bought individual issues; I even kept a couple that featured Native American jewelry. But I haven’t subscribed either. Except now I can’t find it at the newsstands here anymore.

I follow the Native American Art account on Instagram. Though, I don’t subscribe to any of their print/digital magazines. Unfortunately, our local B&N doesn’t carry this magazine. I sure wish they did.

I took a look at the Native American Art website and found that you can create an account and view up to 3 articles per month for free. That’s amazing! For sure, I’ve never seen this magazine up here in Canada. It’s just gorgeous.

If you can find these two issues, they were awesome. The one on the left with the cuffs is Dec/Jan 2021, and the one on the right is Dec/Jan 2020.

I will add that the magazine has a LOT of ads. However, they are ads that are fun to look at!

I concur. I have both of those issues, as well.

Here are two more past issues that might be worth checking out. Looks like they’re available for $8.95.

Turquoise jewelry woven into a textile!! Could I ask for anything more…perhaps to own it ? Really I don’t need to own it to be obsessed with this blanket !!!

Oh!! LOVE this! I love pictorial blankets, we have one, but this is fantastic!! I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you for posting it!

Even has what looks like a Navajo wedding basket in there.
