Thank you for sharing this incredibly beautiful artwork, Tom. Leigh’s works have a welcoming feel, and I really like how subtle they are. J.R. Hess has absolutely perfected the use of the colored pencil! :exploding_head: I find myself extremely fond of Between Feather and Thread: I’d buy that in a heartbeat. Thanks again!! :+1::+1:

Aaron, if you search “Susan Kliewer” in this thread, I’ve posted many other examples of her work. She is one of my favorite sculptors and her focus is Southwestern Indians. :+1:

Since @TAH has yet to kick off a Turquoise Interiors thread, I wanted to share this here.

I just finished redecorating and thought some may enjoy seeing the end result. :squinting_face_with_tongue: Just kidding. These lovely photos are from the home of the couple that owns and operates the Perini Ranch Steakhouse in Buffalo Gap, TX.

I think it’s put together so well: from the old studded Navajo saddle and early headstall to the woman’s wearing blanket above the desk and everything in between, I find it all beautiful.

Here is a shot of the converted barn that Mr. and Mrs. Perini use for the steakhouse.

That’s a tastefully decorated home with some beautiful art and artifacts!

And that’s a great idea for a thread, Aaron. I’ve certainly come across home interiors that would qualify. :+1:

That home is beautifully decorated in Western style. I’m captivated by all of their wonderful paintings. My favorite photo, in the lineup, is #4. It’s one of those images that’s perfect as is. Boy Howdy, that last photo makes me wanna pull on my boots & hightail it over to Buffalo Gap for a mouthwatering meal.

Beautiful paintings; the third one is my favorite. And oddly, this came up in my feed just now. You probably have seen it but I thought I would post it here for those that haven’t.

Not sure if this image of Cher is digital clipart or created by hand, but I thought it was worthy of adding to the thread.

Andrew Van Tsihnahjinnie (1918-2000), Diné Silversmith of the Navaio Nation at Work.

This captivating painting…captures a fellow Diné artist deeply focused on his craft, hammering a silver bar into a piece of jewelry. The scene is rich with detail: a container of hot coals with rising steam sits to the artist’s left, while a bellows rests in front of him, ready to intensify the fire. - Adobe Gallery.

@TAH already shared Ray Roberts, but I just saw this and wanted to include it.

I’ve got a major fascination for petroglyphs and prehistoric rock art, and I love Ray’s title for this one.

In the opening post for this thread, @TAH included sculptor Susan Kliewer, but I had to share this one. :slightly_smiling_face:

Roseta Santiago, Sonoran Night. Yes, it qualifies, but just barely. :slightly_smiling_face: :face_with_monocle:

Forgive me, Tom, as I know that this addition doesn’t necessarily qualify, but I wanted to share an Oklahoman artist I’ve admired for years.

Willard Stone (1916-1985), American (one quarter Cherokee ancestry)

The sculpture that Willard is resting his right hand on is titled Exodus.

Something to Believe In

This, by far, is my favorite Willard Stone sculpture. Please disregard the terrible photo; I had to screenshot this from a video and have never found another photo of this particular piece.
