My mom had one, and wore it a lot for literally decades! When she passed I considered taking it, but it was pretty worn. I can’t remember what happened to it.
It didn’t have the fur collar; it was curly wool.

I have an old Eddie Bauer coat that is a barn coat length - it’s so lovely warm. Both my parents have them as well, bought them at the old Norm Thompson store.
