Wow. What a gorgeous ring and stone!
Thanks @Ziacat !
Iām digging this Persian turquoise.
This vendor has good stones, and great prices.
These stones worked out well together.
Iāll probably be wearing them both a lot.
Wow! What a gorgeous set of turquoise jewelry. Your meticulous craftsmanship is outstanding. Iād be wearing this set a lot, too. Itād become my āsignatureā jewelry. I hope youāll consider buying stones again from this same vendor. Those Persian turquoise cabs are beautiful.
Impeccable, lovely work, @Stracci! Your execution is just downright classy. Againā¦I commend you on your āendlessā rope borders! ![]()
This is all that matters! With your hands youāre crafting adornment for yourself and your loved ones, I say share every single piece and be proud! I donāt believe any of us could tire of seeing your creations. ![]()
One of your best, Stracci! Absolutely perfect. As @Ravenscry mentioned earlier, itās time to move on to a concho belt. ![]()
Thanks @Patina !
I donāt even know the guyās name, but heās been attending the annual March mineral show for the last 3 years, and I look forward to seeing him there.
Thanks @Ravenscry !
When I tell people that I made the jewelry Iām wearing they always look surprised.
Itās interesting how that twist wire doesnāt want to cooperate with me. Itās springy and has a mind of itās own.
Thank you @TAH !
I strive for symmetry and neatness, but sometimes itās a real challenge. I tell myself that itās just for me to wear, but I feel uncomfortable if thereās some detail thatās not quite right.
Iām not much of a belt person, and I never liked tucked in shirts. But I should embrace belts/buckles because itās yet another place to show off turquoise!
I always love the look of a shirt down over a skirt with a belt on top, but to be honest itās really a pain to wear sometimes. The shirt always pulls out from under the belt and bunches up funky, so I end up tucking it in anyway ![]()
@Ziacat Right! Anything tucked in is always a problem, and will pull out as you move around.
And what about driving with a concho belt on? I think it would rub against the car seat. No one ever addresses that.
@StevesTrail
Poor little horsies might get gelded!
I was thinking about damage to the silver work and turquoise, who cares about the seats! ![]()

Iām actually okay with tucking my shirt into my jeans and then wearing a belt through the loops; I pull the shirt out enough that it doesnāt bother me at all (Iām also good with the half tuck
). What bugs me is the shirt UNtucked OVER the skirt, and then the belt on top of the untucked shirt. That drives me insane, because whenever I move around the shirt bunches up and pulls out from under the belt, and Iām always messing with it.
Yeah, I would have trouble wearing a concho belt when I drive; I think it would irritate me, and be uncomfortable against the seat, even if had a seat cover.
Iāve been wearing long sleeve Wranglers every day for a number of years, and due to my work and hobbies Iām constantly retucking.
But I canāt stand an untucked shirt, my father would have my hide. ![]()
Iāve never had any issues, even with stacked belts, and I wear my belts often. Everyoneās got their preferences and what theyāre comfortable with!
Iāve yet to see any ill effects, other than the holes, cuts, and rips in my driverās seat.
Just kidding!
Belts over dresses solve the tucking in problem, and look cute to boot (this is my favorite rodeo court look so far - Canby Rodeo)
Oh my stars! Absolutely beautiful set.
Thanks @here4turquoise !
I was a little jealous about your latest romp and buying excursion, so I had to make myself a few things as consolation! ![]()
We still have at least two weeks before returning to Virginia.
I do love your new pieces. What a great eye and talent you have.
