Turquoise jewelry I recently made

What a very cool finger cuff! Whod’a thunk it!?

I think one of the many things I like about your new ingenious creation is that, to me, it resembles chisel cut or sawn split shank bracelets and rings.

Thanks again for sharing! :+1:

That’s a super nice ring and a very inspiring idea!

I bought a few stones at the recent gem and mineral show, all from the same cabber.

They are Royston, three variscites, and Mina Maria turquoise.

I made some basic earrings with the 2 matching variscites.

Well done @Stracci ! I always enjoy seeing your cab finds and new creations.

I keep missing our tiny gem and mineral show in SW VA. Pretty sure ours is nothing in comparison to yours.

Always enjoy seeing your new creations. These variscite earrings are sooo pretty. A perfect design for these well matched stones. You sure have a keen eye for quality turquoise/variscite cabs.

Thanks @here4turquoise!

You should get to the show! Even if that show is small, I’m sure it would still be entertaining!

Thanks @mmrogers! Less detail means less weight on them. My earlobes can’t support heavy earrings anymore.

@StevesTrail Thanks! The twist wire is coming in handy!

@Patina Thanks! I was looking for small, interesting stones this time. I thought the Mina Maria color was exceptional! I’m looking forward to making something fun with that one.

You are making great use of your supplies and skills as a jeweler and designer.

Lovely! I like the look of the tight twisted wire right up next to the serrated bezel. And those beautiful stones just reinforce the fact that I need to give up speculating on turquoise origin  I would have certainly guessed they were turquoise.

Thanks @Ziacat!

I’m really enjoying the variscite right now. Some of it does look like turquoise!

@chris thank you for the nice compliment! I try hard to be neat in my work.

I made this pendant today with a nice piece of Kingman. I bought it from the cutter a few years ago at the local gem show.

Beautiful as always, love the pieces you make!

Very nice as usual. I see you have also signed the pendant. And it hangs perfectly.:+1:

Thanks! I really enjoyed making it.

Thanks Steve! I always sign my pieces, but sometimes I don’t show the inside of rings or the backs of pendants. I took this photo of the back to show how I attached the bail.
