@OrbitOrange Yes, I thought about that… The beading work on them is actually pretty precise and I know that they create work in all kinds of themes, but I just thought it was funny that the text read as though it was traditional Native American theme.
Gotta love the knives replacing feathers for tips, whoever cooked these up.
Traditional may not be the exact right word. But they are pretty cool earrings and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they were Native American.
The show Rutherford Falls made a point to showcase modern Native beadwork. Here are a few articles that highlight the bead work and jewelry from the show:
Jamie Okuma does some pretty amazing beadwork
@RedlandMaggie I recognize that image, too (and yes, this artist does some awesome work!)… That’s from Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
@chicfarmer oh yeah…I would definitely wear them!
Sadie Frost did a great job at it -
What kind of Frankenstein piece is this?? And I’m sorry, but the placement of the back link is unfortunate. Poor horsey
early.

Interesting and stupid frankenpendant. Looks to be easily converted back. As for the horse as @Ziacat points out, dolorem ipsum.
Last night I had a nightmare about the shop that made this pendant. I went in and fired every last employee.
Oh my gosh! That poor horse. And I pity the person that ends up buying this and thinking they have some kind of great antique find. Looks like it would be easy to take apart and fix.
Who can forget the walruses of Zuni, lazing in the sun on the plaza
Wow. Those are so bad they’re almost good
Those things are atrocious, lol.
Steve…I’m amazed at your photoshopping ability.
