2nd time around cuff

This is one is my favorite of Robert’s.

I believe he makes his beads too.

That’s freakin’ awesome - a horseshoe squash! I really like his work. Thanks for posting these pics!

I’m wearing my cuff right now😁

Your cuff is a happy piece. Do you receive compliments on it?
I do too and hope to pick up a couple of pieces eventually.

@here4turquoise, I love it when artist sign their handmade beads; so good to see these. The only other ones I know of (and own) are Larry Pinto, Cippy Crazyhorse (maybe his son, Waddie), and Marie Marie Yazzie (she uses a small tag). Now I can add Robert to that list!

I will be on the look out for some signed beads. Thanks for the list of artists that sign.

Thank you, it makes me smile! I’ve gotten a few comments, but unfortunately around here people aren’t into Native American jewelry like I am.

@Bmpdvm I have a Mary Marie onyx cluster ring!

Bingo! @here4turquoise
You are correct!
I went to eBay, and the seller is dukecityanteeks.
Albuquerque is the Duke City.
Anteeks is the name of the mall!

Haha, so this is the guy. Small world, eh?
@Ziacat I can’t believe I looked at that case and missed the purple Eiteljorg ribbon!

Robert Johnson will be at the Indian Market this coming weekend. I’ll be sure to visit his booth!

Gosh, it really is a small world! I wonder if his prices are as high in the store as online. I think we got a deal on our cuff and earrings LOL

As far as you missing the ribbon, I missed the whole bridle right in front of my face

Post pics for us pleeeease  (from the market)

@Ziacat and @Stracci We make a great detective team. I can hardly wait to hear and see of your market experience.

I will absolutely take photos and start a thread.
This mall is the best one in town. It’s really nice, with quality antiques and lots of great jewelry.

This is the place where I bought that waterweb Bisbee stone. The one that I scraped off the black shoe polish to better show the waterweb.
That booth still has an assortment of Bisbee cabs, all cut from the same larger stone showing the waterweb pattern. I would have bought another stone, but we have Indian Market coming up, so I’m watching my pennies!

So all this talk about markets made me wear my Eiteljorg Market t shirt which features Mary Tafoya work along with her necklace to work this am.

They look great together.

Really like the blossom bead done that way on the earrings! More special because they belonged to you mom…

Thank you! I inherited my parents’ Native American stuff (my brother and sister had little interest in those items, and were happy for me to take them), and it’s all special to me. A few months after I joined this forum I made a thread about the trip my mom was on when she bought these. You might enjoy it also

This one is different than the one on ebay. Both are

Well, that’s pretty cool! He was so gracious when I chatted with him. I’m glad his work is being honored!

I was googling a hallmark that’s on one of my rings, and found this by that particular artist. Whoever buys Robert’s bridle needs to have this bolo to go along with it.

@TAH and @here4turquoise, since we were talking about bridles, if you haven’t seen this I thought you might enjoy it. It just came into my feed a little bit ago.

Thanks Zia! I always enjoy hearing Mark’s thoughts on NA silver. Love those old Navajo headstalls, especially this one I saw at the Heard in August.
