Yeeeesssss!! That’s part of what drew me to the ring and little cuff. Now I wear the other cuff a lot hoping to get some greasiness to it eventually - it’s starting slowly, but it’s not as old, so make take awhile ![]()
Heading out tonight with the pups. Here is my minimal NA jewelry. Going with the greasy green as inspired by @Ziacat
Such pretty green turquoise! Love the.little cuff in particular.
Ooh @Phoenix7
That’s a Santa Fe sort of “not too much”! ![]()
That is a cuff from the trunk sale last fall. I wear that one as it compliments everything.
Loving the petite greasy green!
@chicfarmer
yeah, pretty much.
Went to a concert last night and wore some bling.
(Non-Native rings mixed in with otherwise Native jewelry)
With some fringe:
Purse made of repurposed Navajo blanket (and photographed with a different outfit).
I swear I do sometimes wear different looks than this.
Love the monochrome look. You are rocking it!
You look outstanding! The necklace is killer.![]()
This concho is so beautiful on you! Maybe I need a good concho belt afterall……I love the styling you’ve done here. I think I know where to get a good one……![]()
Yess go get it!
(@Stracci and I saw I nice belt for the right price thrifting in ABQ together)
OK I love the whole look, but what caught my eye is the way your cuff on the right hand floats exactly with the contours of your watch. Great pairing, one I’d like to steal as a concept bc I have a watch built a lot like yours and never thought to find a cuff that might sit nicely with it.
You know you have to give deets on all the makers. ![]()
Yea, I love it! That belt rocks! I love seeing the full outfit with all that great bling ![]()
Rock on!! You look like you’re ready for a concert; a rock concert I’m assuming ![]()
Really cool stuff! You almost make me want a concho belt….but you have inspired me to at least wear what I have again.
I’m LOVING the vertebrae ring! And the purse of course. And is that your Curtis Pete ring?
Whatever the entertainment and wherever the venue, you’d have stolen the show had I seen you!

This ensemble showcases your outstanding tastes, OO! Your earrings look awesome with your necklace, obviously.
If your photo doesn’t suade some of our other female members into aiming for a concbo belt, I’m unsure of what will!! That purse is a knockout. I love the (what appear to be) natural wools, the buttons are beautiful and their placement on the weaving is impeccable! This definitely has a Santa Fe Scout look!
I agree with @chicfarmer, your cuff and watch combo is pure class.
Silver and black is darn tough to beat! ![]()
Thanks for the compliments everyone.
@chicfarmer I think that shape cuff is sometimes known as a sweater cuff, with the idea being that it can peek out and be partially visible under a sweater. It works well for pairing with watches too, though I almost never do it, because I worry they’ll scratch one another.
You know you have to give deets on all the makers.
Ok, twist my arm🤣. The cuff with the watch on the right arm is Cody Sanderson. The two cuffs on the left arm are Cippy Crazyhorse (proximal, hammered ingot), and Floyd Parkhurst (distal, sandcast). Good eye @Ziacat: the ring on my right ring finger is Curtis Pete. It’s actually a new ring I picked up in Santa Fe in August; I’ll have to post it at some point. Other rings are my wedding set and by The Great Frog London. The belt is vintage 1940’s first phase revival. The necklace is Mary Tom, and the earrings are my Chris Pruitt argentium earrings recently discussed on another thread.
@Ziacat yes a rock concert! My favorite band, Pulp, reunited and put out their first new album in 24 years. I’m beyond excited that they’re touring again. I’m going to another show on Tuesday, so maybe I’ll come up with a new outfit.
I’m glad you like the vertebrae ring; I think that one’s so fun too. It’s by The Great Frog, not Native. But I think their jewelry pairs great with my Native jewelry. A shot from the show:
@Ravenscry I’m glad you love the purse too! I don’t really know much about the weaving that was used but I agree with you; it does look like it could be natural dyes. I got the bag in Santa Fe at one of the Market-adjacent shows. I think the woman who makes them does a really good and uses all high quality materials. I would be honored if I succeeded in inspiring any of the other women on the forum to start wearing concho belts!
The ring is awesome, and so are the cuffs. Wondering if you have a medical background since you used the terms “proximal” and “distal.” I prob was especially drawn to the vertebrae piece since I am a RN (although haven’t worked as one in a VERY long time).
I will still just enjoy looking at all of y’all’s concho belts; closest I will get is my studded BritWest belt ![]()
Thanks for sharing your rockstar look!
Lol you caught me Zia, I’m medical. I thought referring to proximal and distal cuffs might be too medical lingo-y but it was the best and easiest way to differentiate them.
Well if I can’t convince you to get a concho belt you can at least wear your NA jewelry with your Brit West belt and show us how you style them.
