How do we combine and wear our Native American bling

Thank you @chicfarmer I look forward to wearing them during the holidays. These three velvets are the ones I kept from the dozen or so I ordered. There was a silver one and I didn’t know if it would work. I loved the look but not the cut of the top.

Thank you @Ziacat You, others here on the forum and Mark Sublette at Medicine Man have convinced me cracks add character to the piece. They are part of the ring’s history.

Today’s selection with uniform (I do miss being able to wear my own clothes to work, it was much easier to wear big jewelry) ~ Leo Feeney ring, earrings hallmarked GW, no hallmark cuff.

@RedlandMaggie Your earrings are so pretty! Turquoise & black onyx is a favorite combo of mine. The turquoise in your ring beautifully matches the turquoise in your earrings. That’s a nice cuff, too.

Would that count if it got caught in a lawn mower?

The turquoise matching was a very happy coincidence - it would’ve never happened if I’d actually tried to look for matching ones

Hi @RedlandMaggie, Your jewelry combination is perfect with a uniform! Your three carinated cuffs would look great worn together😊. One question…what is a triple carinated cuff? I’ve likely seen one before, but am not familiar with the term…Thanks!

@diriklolkus Ya just never know.

I wasn’t sure what else to call it it’s soldered together to form a single cuff?

@RedlandMaggie Thanks for this additional photo. From the original photo, I couldn’t tell if I was looking at 3 separate cuffs or if they were soldered together (either by the original silversmith or a previous owner).

I’ve seen other cuffs in a similar style, so I assume it’s originally designed that way.

Thanks! Now it makes sense! I’ve not seen one of these before; so now I know!

I thought I’d revive this super fun thread.

Does anyone else do variscite/chalcosiderite? Even though it’snot turquoise blue, I’ve had a little fetish for it. I’m going house hunting today so I can pile it on since I’m not doing anything that will damage anything I’m wearing.

One more for 2025! Trying out my new-to-me multicolor heishi. I don’t do cuffs and rings as much, but found a great daily cuff at the Palace of the Governors last summer.

What a lovely combination! And such pretty earrings; I think maybe you posted them in the past? I feel like I remember them, and they go so well with your other pieces.

I am totally a cuff gal, and I love your new one. We may get back out to New Mexico this summer, so I hope to check out the Palace of the Governor’s portal again.

Thanks! The earrings came from Perry Null, by Vincent Shirley, they were in another of my posts. We are heading to Pagosa, CO next summer, and trying to work out NM stops on the way out-have to pick and choose! We are also going to head to Indianapolis this summer for the big show!

Oh yay! I’m planning to be at the Eiteljorg market also. Maybe we can meet up

We thought we were going to go to Arizona this spring, but it may not work out (my hubby may be having foot surgery) so we’ll probably go to Arizona and/or New Mexico again in the hottest part of the year
