Looking at the work, Perhaps Asian, and probably Philippine .

Recent thread on this maker. Hougart’s says Anglo and notes “carved work”-- but this doesn’t vouch that he himself did the carvings (relevant to @mmrogers observation above).

Also using cast leaves rather than handmade. This piece looks largely assembled from findings rather than being fabricated from raw materials. First thing that came to mind with carved turquoise/lost wax cast horse head is Dave Freeland’s shop in the phillipines. This is very different than the bolo in the link reference, and from the looks of it much more recent.

The placement of the stamp could have easily been done after the fact by removing the setting, stamping the back and replacing the setting (5 minute job).

Not saying this is the case here, but hallmarks are easily reproduced, and false attribution is the bread and butter of many in the resale trade. As always, ‘caveat emptor’.

The following link is a good source to look at for Hallmarks. There is a small section with FAKE hallmarks found on Ebay and Etsy.

I didn’t take much time seeking the one you want to identify in your post. I may have missed what I did look at. I question if its upside down and is a Roadrunner

The Amerindian site can be a good place to start, but it does have some errors, so we always try to back up a hallmark from it with other info.
