After meeting you at the Eiteljorg, you and Brit look like twins. Seriously.
I’d like to chime in and mention that after @Ziacat swung by the shop one afternoon to meet face to face, I will wholeheartedly agree with @TAH, you’re already there, @Ziacat!!
Awww, you guys, too sweet. (I did not pay them for this endorsement )
Hmmmm….wonder if my waist is small enough to try this
@Patina…oooh, wouldn’t it be fun to have a dress form and play with layering! My husband will finally realize I’m certifiable😆!
I want her hat band…etc😋!
Ha, I had to chuckle @chicfarmer…just acouple days ago I was looking at Shelby Tisdale’s book on the Millicent Rogers Museum collection and saw this magnificent piece. Your photo is much better, but the book includes an interesting story about how she obtained this amazing Leekya piece.
For anyone who loves Millicent’s jewelry and this small museum, I highly recommend this book:
Since Aaron posted this photograph in the public forum, it is fair game.
Men’s turquoise fashion at its finest. Vintage double belts on our very own @Ravenscry…
…what was I thinking…
I’ve no words, Tom, other than that I am honored and flattered to see that impromptu photo shared on this thread by its creator.
I’m not into fashion like y’all but this one of Kansas Clifford (Lakota) on Brit West that came up caught even my attention.
Working on a winter outfit for “dressy” - I have a midi length plain navy velvet dress (crazy comfy as it has some stretch) that I am zhuzhing up with a pair of Old Gringo boots, and am working on some gaspeite NA pieces to go with it - too much?
That sounds pretty perfect to me!
You must like big hats (and you cannot lie )
I can picture the hat being worn in a version of Dickens Christmas Carol (minus the lovely pin of course).
LOL! Mr. TAH didn’t even say a word about that fabulous concho belt…
He did not, nor the crazy cool beaded vest
Y’all, I need some help with fashion. I’m going to a work event next week and the first night is a cocktail party and the theme is Arizona inspired. I’m told we can wear cowboy boots, which is great because I have a bunch of those, but not sure what to wear on top!
I’ve gained a little bit of weight recently and my former clothes don’t fit comfortably, so I don’t want to do that. Can someone suggest a skirt and shirt combo or something that may not be fitted that I could try? anything that may hide a few new lumps?
Hmmm … had to think on this a bit. I like to wear my cowboy boots with denim skirts (especially my white one), and I usually wear a graphic tee with it. Then I often add some sort of button front shirt that I wear like a jacket, but I suspect you want something waaay dressier. And I don’t know how “western” you’re wanting to look; here in IN I tend to tone down the westerny look on top (because I also have on turquoise jewelry). I found a couple pictures, but I don’t know if they look AZ enough, and they’re not really cocktail party material. But I like the idea of a looser summery dress plus a denim jacket (or even a silky jacket).
I absolutely LOVE the dark florals here with the with the boots (I think I really need this skirt/dress

Maybe something like this since it has a a dressier jacket?
Male perspective. Hard to beat boots and a sun dress.
