Turquoise jewelry I recently made

Here is a Sonoran Gold ring I just completed.

I made a bezel from fine bead wire @StevesTrail

I created texture on the shank with a nail set. I treated it with a brass brush for a matte look.

I really like the bezel on this one, @Stracci. I think the heavily spaced notches give it a rugged look. The stone is lovely and your craftsmanship is a joy to take in. Congrats on another beautiful creation!

Thanks @Ravenscry ! It was fun to make.

I like experimenting with textures, and this one was fun to pound on. I need to get some real stamps.

The stone in that ring almost rivals that really cool setting! I think this one is my fave that I’ve seen from you. Stunning!

Thanks @Phoenix7 !

I liked the mix of colors in this stone. The cool green and the bright blue together in the same stone is interesting to me.

That’s a beautiful cab of Sonoran Gold and a terrific looking textured shank. But my favorite feature is that you took a plain bezel and cut simple, wonderful notches at the top. To me, it gives your ring an extra flair . As always, your craftsmanship is excellent.

Thanks ! The serrated teeth add a little something. Plain bezels can be boring sometimes.

Better than interesting. Your pieces are a nice creative blend of traditional with a touch of modernism without being over the top or ostentatious.

Thank you @StevesTrail for the kind words! I try to come up with interesting designs, but sometimes the stone just tells me what it wants. Is that weird?

Very cool Stracci! The stone is great, and I love the mid-century modern feel of the shank. As always your work is impeccable!
