Thanks! Yep, I’m recently retired
@Bmpdvm “dvm” are some of my favorite letters in combination, as a former large-animal person.
Congrats on your recent retirement. Is that killer Simplicio bracelet hallmarked?
Unfortunately that one, my favorite, is not signed, but definitely a Simplicio. Another piece with the typical coral was in the same collection I purchased; it was signed. There were also some large clip earrings. This is the signed cuff:
@Juanita beautiful pieces!
@SevernSound Wow wow wow! Beautiful cuff.
I have three favorites!
First Image: Red Skin Turquoise—custom design by Cole Udall of Moonhouse Silver
Second Image: A gorgeous Sleeping Beauty turquoise ring by Navajo silversmith, Sheila Tso.
Third image: A vintage Kingman turquoise ring by Navajo silversmith, Ray Jack.
I have very few pieces. My favorite is my cuff in my avatar. I love the stone’s movement.
No marks unfortunately. And I don’t know what the stone actually is. I could guess but won’t. Would love some ideas.
That’s beautiful! And I love how the silver looks. Just has a soft sheen.
@Ziacat it does feel so good. The color of the stone is really off in this pix. Need to find better lighting and retake.
I love Sleeping Beauty, its so flawless it doesnt look real sometimes. Beautiful ring collection.
I would love to find a bracelet like that someday. Thats the second one i have seen on here with a massive stone in a bracelet, absolutely incredible.
@Meandmy6 I feel very very fortunate to have been gifted the bracelet by my sister. I need to take better pictures though and show it off as the stone has a lot of movement and the Silver work complements it so well.
This one might win the award for the smallest piece. But it is one of my favorites that I wear often. The lady who gave it to me was the sister of one of my coworkers. She helped run estate sales and every time I saw her I complemented her tiny pendant. I just love the color on this particular stone. One day she gave it to me. I told her I could not accept it but she insisted that I would appreciate it more than any one else. She was prone to giving out bits of jewelry to family member and friends. Anyways when I feel grumpy or displeased with humanity I wear this pendant to remind me that people are kind and I need to get over my grumpiness and be more kind myself. The pictures do not do the exact color of the stone justice.
@chris really pretty turquoise! Has personality and great story; it will always be special!
That color is magical, i think it would make me happy too.
Thank you for sharing that. It made me smile.
