How do we combine and wear our Native American bling

Agreed!
I’m sure we all have way more combos. Maybe we can post what we are wearing for the day every once in a while. I love seeing everyones goodies!

Awesome look OO, the Mary Tom necklace and earrings are fabulous. Coupled with that pin it all just makes for a stunning combination!! Great looking jacket as well! :+1:

@Phoenix7, you make some good arguments! Thanks for this, I’ll check stylicious out. I’m OK coordinating basics but am often stumped at how to accessorize effectively. And it would be so nice to have an app that helps with cataloguing jewellery! I think I’ve hit the limit with Excel

Yeah, it really is super helpful!
You’re welcome! I thought some people might find it as useful as I did.
There are several other apps out there that do the same thing but, this one is free. I like free

I’ll add another. I wore these to the Eiteljorg Indian Market in June (along with another cuff and rings on L arm, earrings and necklaces - the market is the best place to pile on). I don’t often wear 2 big cuffs together since they catch on my down jacket sleeves. Apparently I love cuffs that feature one really nice piece of turquoise, but not a stone so big it hides the silver work.

Color isn’t great - all three stones have a much more intense color- since we are having very gloomy skies here the overhead room light washed it all out.

Ring is by David Lister (Royston), first cuff with Blue Gem is a Derrick Gordon, top cuff is an earlier Charlie John (with possible Indian Mountain - Jason’s thought on it). The top cuff is really heavy, and has always been a fav.

Thanks! The jacket is from Harrods in London

That’s a stunning combo. Those 2 cuffs with that ring! You don’t see enough blue gem turquoise anymore, and it’s nice to see it. I have some somewhere around here from way back. I’m a cuff girl too. I seriously have a huge cuff problem.
I never considered stacking them but, it looks spectacular especially being 2 sleeker, straight cut designs. What a concept!

Thanks @Phoenix7 and @Cicadalady! I also call it my four corners cuff (Patina gave me that idea). It’s the only for sure Blue Gem stone I have. The owner of Twin Rocks Trading Post where I bought it said it was part of their old stock. They often commission Native artists they know to do work for them, and then give them a stone out of their stock to use. The owners of the trading post are amazing; they have worked for years with different artists to try to encourage new avenues within Native American art, in particular with rugs and baskets.

Those two cuffs also work well with the one I pictured in the first post of this thread, but I bought the Pete Johnson cuff at the market. I can’t stack all three together, because they wouldn’t fit on my arm

Beautiful! That thunderbird ring is a knockout! :slightly_smiling_face: The combination of the patina on the silver, your black sleeves, the dark watch face, and the onyx(?) in the ring adjacent to your wedding band really all go so well together, this is a killer look! :+1:

@Ravenscry Thanks! The bird ring is by Curtis Pete, featured in post 88 of Zia’s bird thread:

The heart and dagger ring is black spinel. I forgot to add the disclaimer that that one’s not Native; it’s from The Great Frog in London. I love it though, and I love mixing it up with some of my edgier Native jewelry.

Ooh OO…Love that necklace! Great examples of gorgeous simple sliver pieces combined to produce an eye-popping effect ( I must say your pieces are far from simple - but you get my point😄) I’ve always loved silver worn with leather or denim!

Oh, look at that David Lister ring! Love, love love it!

Even if I had been sleepy, this was like a jolt of caffeine

Oh my gosh, too freakin’ cool! The belts, the naja and heishi necklaces, and the ketohs - all of it! Are you sure these photos aren’t from the Cowboy and Indians magazine  The denim shirts set everything off perfectly. I think black denim is highly underrated; it’s so perfect with silver jewelry.

Thanks for posting!
