New NA jewelry additions

I believe that brooch image is “raven steals the sun” which you can google for the mythology for it. Cool piece!!

Thank you for the explanation. I like the granular surface. It provides nice contrast. @chamekke …thanks for looking into that. I thought my hallmark was just Alfred with most of the A excised, but now I see the J hooked below. I wasn’t sure what that was. You solved it. I will do further reading on this artist and look up the mythology of the raven catching the sun. Thanks @Jemez2

I like that sea otter bracelet…although it doesn’t look too much like an otter to me…I recently bought an otter “fetish” from SGW….mainly because the river otter is my spirit animal. In my next life you can find me playing in the river with my buds.

That 3 stone feather cuff is delicious!
I would wear that in a heartbeat!

A few of my recent additions. The pin is hallmarked for Hopicrafts. The huuuge Bear paw ring is hallmarked for Gordon Honyestewa (Hopi). The long (2.25") ring, with a cutout, is hallmarked for Trinidad Lucas (Hopi). Kachina/Maiden ring is hallmarked for Bennie Ration (Navajo).

Fantastic pieces, @Patina . Really love the whimsical kachina peeking over the top of the ring on the right!

Thanks!! @mmrogers @nanc9354 @chicfarmer I searched a long time for a Bennie Ration Kachina ring. I stumbled upon this one while searching for something else. Sweet serendipity. This is my first piece by Trinidad Lucas and, hopefully, not my last! I was really drawn to the Gordon H ring with its combo bear paw & healing hand symbol. It’s unique looking to me.

Here’s my new Kee Yazzie ring. I’ve been wanting another one of his for a while so I guess this was it. Now I want a third… or maybe a bolo?

I think you need a third AND a bolo

I like naturalistic otters myself – your “fetish” from SGW is absolutely charming!

(What is SGW by the way?)

@Patina those are all gorgeous rings! I think I especially love the Hopicrafts ring (is it a prayer feather?) and the charming Bennie Ration kachina/maiden. Then again, the two paws in the middle are also epic, especially the Trinidad Lucas one with the cutout. Well, shoot – they’re all fantastic.

@chamekke Thanks! I think maybe prayer feathers at the bottom of the Hopicrafts pin. I was wondering if it could be a figural design of a quail - looks like it has a topnotch :woman_shrugging:.

I also wondered if it was a quail. Is that turquoise in the Kachina ring? It’s such a beautiful color. Lovely pieces.

@Ziacat Thanks! The Kachina ring was described as a turquoise ring. The stone has matrix & appears to be “real”. At first I thought possibly green Royston, but I’m not so sure. I’m curious about this stone. Definitely a ring I’d take to some southwest trading posts to get their take on it.

I really like that stone. I also wondered about it being Royston. I’ve seen pictures of some with that beautiful dark green.

@chamekke SGW means ShopGoodwill, the online Goodwill auction site. I will admit I watch many things on that site, and have found some treasures.

Yes. I found some great items too. Though it is getting harder and harder to find a deal
